Report: Future of Sen. Harry Reid Unclear

Forty years ago, Harry Reid lost a close race for U.S. Senate to former Nevada Governor Paul Laxalt.

Now more than half-way through his fifth term, there are questions about Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's health, his recent gaffe at the Asian Chamber of Commerce event, and a possible challenge from current Republican Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval.

Reid has also been taking on Koch brothers - William, Charles and David - who have spent millions of dollars in pursuit of smaller, more limited government. The Koch brothers have also been targeting vulnerable Democrats with donations to Republican candidate in November.

Reid has described what the Koch's are doing as an assault on democracy.

Insiders also say the uncertainty about the Democrats keeping its majority in the Senate is leading Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to retire instead of facing challenger in two years.
