Part of Colorado River Declared National Water Trail

Federal officials declared a portion of the lower Colorado as a National Water Trail. The designation marks the river below the Hoover Dam as a particularly scenic route for canoes, kayaks and other water craft. But it doesn't come with any extra funding or protections for the land.
