Finding Health Care In Rural Nevada
If you live in rural Nevada, there’s a good chance that getting health care can be a problem when you live in such a remote area. You might not be able to get to a hospital quickly in an emergency, and you also might have travel long distances to get routine checkups and screenings.
Rural areas often have fewer doctors and dentists, and certain specialists might not be available at all.
So if you live in rural parts of Nye, Elko, White Pine or Clark counties, you have to travel some distance to see a doctor or get to the hospital.
